Montrose has been awarded a long-term agreement with IFAD (the International Fund for Agricultural Development) to provide impact assessment services for IFAD’s global programme portfolio across a wide range of geographies and thematic areas. IFAD is a specialised agency of the United Nations dedicated to promoting global agricultural development, providing financing to member states for programmes primarily targeting food production systems and related policy and institutions.
Montrose will undertake qualitative and quantitative research to measure the impact of IFAD funded programmes. Impact assessments typically involve data collection with programme beneficiaries and other stakeholders, measuring programme impact against specific criteria such as relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability.
